Blackshaw Moor CofE First School is inspiring pupils to make a positive difference through its exciting new Heroes of Change Challenges, launching in January 2026.

Building on the school’s successful School Heroes programme, this initiative encourages children to complete 30 challenges designed to create change at every level:

• 10 challenges focused on personal growth
• 10 challenges to improve their school and local community
• 10 challenges aimed at making a difference in the wider world

For every five challenges completed, pupils will earn a badge to display proudly on their lanyard, celebrating their commitment to kindness, responsibility, and active citizenship.

This programme not only promotes positive behaviour but also empowers children to become role models and change-makers in their communities. More details and challenge booklets will be shared with families after Christmas.
