Circus Skills Fun at Blackshaw Moor
At The Talentum Learning Trust, we are proud to offer enriching and memorable experiences across all our schools that support our mission to help every learner believe in themselves and succeed in life. One such special event recently took place at Blackshaw Moor First School, where pupils enjoyed an exciting afternoon of circus skills, courtesy of the generous support from their PTFA.
A Fun-Filled Circus Skills Afternoon
Thanks to the kindness of the Parent, Teacher, and Friends Association (PTFA), the children at Blackshaw Moor First School were treated to a vibrant and engaging circus skills workshop. This fun-filled afternoon allowed pupils to explore new talents, develop coordination and confidence, and most importantly, have a great time together.
The event perfectly reflects our core values:
- Aspiration: Encouraging pupils to try new challenges and build resilience through learning new circus skills.
- Compassion: Creating a joyful, inclusive environment where every child felt supported and valued.
- Integrity: Promoting teamwork and respect as pupils learned and practised their new skills.
- Excellence for All: Providing a high-quality, enjoyable experience that enriches the pupils’ education beyond the classroom.
The laughter and enthusiasm throughout the afternoon demonstrated how such activities contribute to the holistic development of our pupils—socially, physically, and emotionally.
Building Community and Collaboration
This event also highlights the vital role that our school community plays in enhancing pupil experiences. The PTFA’s support is a wonderful example of how collaboration between parents, staff, and pupils helps us create memorable opportunities that align with our vision of building together and fostering a community where everyone flourishes.
