Recently, two of our schools, Leek First School and All Saints First School, embarked on an unforgettable three-day adventure at the Standon Bowers Outdoor Education Centre.

Friday 9 May 2025 Rugby Success for Churnet View Congratulation to Churnet View's year 6 mixed tag rugby team who retained the district winners medals at Leek Rugby Club on Friday. They remained unbeaten throughout the fesival and scored an impressive 25 tries in 6 games.

Monday 31 March 2025 Trekking Challenge In May, one of our staff at All Saints First School, Vikki Jackson, will be taking on the challenge of a 26-mile trek around London to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Society. Vikki's decision to participate in this event is deeply personal, as she lost her father to Alzheimer's disease earlier this year.

Once a year each of their classes, from St George to St John celebrate their special day. Today, the pupils of St. Patrick Class had a wonderful time celebrating the feast of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.

Friday 7 March 2025 Blackshaw Moor has a Musical Experience School News Live Music Performance On Tuesday 25th February we were visited by musicians who delivered an hour long performance on Music Around the World. The different instruments were explained and demonstrated to the children and children got to join in with some of the songs and rhythms from around the world. Children were brilliantly behaved and answered questions in a sensible and thoughtful manner.
